A man from Prescot has been imprisoned for twenty years for child sex offences from the 1980s.
Kevin Perry, 56 years of Cross Lane, was found guilty by a jury at Liverpool Crown Court last month of 13 counts of indecent assault of a girl under 15 years and two acts of rape under the age of sixteen.
Perry was sentenced to twenty years in jail today; he has been listed as a lifetime Sexual offender on the register. He was also given a Sexual Damage Prevention Order for Life, which forbids him from working with children under eighteen, being in the company of children under sixteen, and visiting countries where minors are judged to be in danger of sexual damage.
