Adam Bushell Blantyre Paedophile

Blantyre Paedophile Adam Bushell was prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors; yet, he cohabited with a woman and her young daughter.

Adam Bushell, a cunning sex offender, violated court rules by cohabiting with a single mother after altering his name to conceal his disreputable history.

The 27-year-old was incarcerated in 2016 after being apprehended by the paedophile hunters Dark Justice as he arrived for a rendezvous with what he mistakenly believed to be a 13-year-old girl he had been conversing with on a dating website.

After serving a jail sentence for that offence, he was subjected to community restrictions and prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors without parental consent and without disclosing his prior criminal history.

Adam Bushell encountered a woman on a dating platform, cohabited with her and her 10-year-old daughter, and resided with them for eight months before the truth was ultimately revealed.

A court was informed that the woman was unaware of his status as a sex offender until her friend, growing suspicious, discovered this information through a Google search.

He had frequently been left alone with the child, although there is no indication that he mistreated her.

A judge characterised Adam Bushell as deceptive after learning he had altered his name to Andrew Robinson in an attempt to conceal his past.

The distressed mother, who was pregnant with his child when she discovered his history, had feelings of physical illness and a desire to remove him from her life.

Adam Bushell has been re-incarcerated for two years after acknowledging his noncompliance with sex offender registration mandates and violating a sexual harm prevention order. The orders remain effective.

Judge Simon Batiste, at Newcastle Crown Court, stated: I am convinced you altered your name to conceal your identity and obscure your history.

You cohabited with a 10-year-old child without informing her mother.

In my assessment, these actions posed a significant risk, considering your prior convictions.

They exhibit a significant degree of cunning and scheming.

Individuals who engage in such high-risk behaviour and have previously committed offences must comprehend that the orders, the sex offenders register, and the sexual harm prevention order are enforceable.

It is imperative that you comprehend that these obligations must be fulfilled; otherwise, more lengthy jail sentences will ensue.

Prosecutor Neil Pallister informed the court that Adam Bushell had been designated a risk management officer upon his release from a 16-month sentence for the Dark Justice charges.

By March of this year, Adam Bushell, who had fabricated justifications to prevent the officer from visiting his residence in Jarrow and proposed a meeting at a police station, had entirely severed communication with the authorities.

It was subsequently disclosed that he commenced a relationship with the woman in early last year and cohabited with her in September.

Mr. Pallister stated that she confirmed the defendant did not disclose at any time that he was subject to a sexual harm prevention order or a registration requirement.

During the course of their relationship, the defendant consistently utilised the surname Robinson and was presented to acquaintances and relatives by that name.

The court learnt that the truth emerged when a woman became suspicious of him.

Mr. Pallister stated that the name she recognised him by, Adam Robinson, yielded no results upon her Google search.

In May 2018, she searched for Adam Newcastle on Google and found several photographs of sex offenders. An image of Adam Bushell appeared.

She promptly identified the image as the same person she recognised as Adam Robinson.

Upon discovering the situation, the single mother cohabiting with him informed the police: I do not wish to communicate with him; I simply want him removed from my life. I am experiencing physical illness.

Brian Mark, in defence, stated that there was no indication that Adam Bushell had perpetrated any sexual offences.

Mr. Mark stated that Bushell desired a conventional life and relationship, adding that he relinquished control to pursue a relationship.

It pertained to his egocentric need for a connection.

In 2016, Adam Bushell was incarcerated for 16 months after engaging in communication with a decoy profile on an adult dating site and thereafter exchanging private conversations via WhatsApp, although believing she was merely 13 years old.

Throughout the discussions, Adam Bushell requested nude photographs and transmitted shirtless images of himself. When questioned about whether her youth deterred him, Bushell acknowledged it somewhat, stating that he could not engage in sexual activity owing to her age, but then assured her of his gentleness.

He was accosted by Dark Justice members, who notified the police, when he arrived to meet the girl in Newcastle.

In 2011, Adam Bushell was convicted of violence for applying duct tape to the mouth of a lady who was 33 weeks pregnant and received a suspended sentence.

He subsequently assaulted the same woman later that year and was incarcerated.

In 2010, at the age of 19, Adam Bushell received a caution for engaging in sexual relations with a teenage schoolgirl.
