English justice has let down yet another child rape survivor.
Following an Oxford trial, a Dental receptionist has been exonerated of all counts of child sexual assault.
Charged with eight charges of allegedly early 2000s child sexual assault, Ashley Hookway, 31, was on trial at Oxford Crown Court.
When Mr. Hookway himself was between the ages of 11 and 14, it was claimed that he had sexually mistreated a young lad who was just five years old.
On all charges, nevertheless, a twelve-strong jury cleared Mr. Hookway.
Mr. Hookway informed the jury throughout the trial that he was meant to be married but had to postpone it because of the trial.
“We had a couple of years to get married,” he remarked. We have had to postpone, sadly.
