Recidivist paedophile Serial offender Colin Lowrie has been incarcerated again after expressing to an undercover police officer, posed as a 13-year-old girl, his desire to engage in sexual activity with her.
Sex offender Colin Lowrie has been convicted of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl, transmitting images of his genitalia to a 15-year-old girl, and engaging in sexual intercourse in a public park during a children’s treasure hunt.
Nonetheless, the 25-year-old proceeded to contact whoever he believed to be a teenage girl on a dating website in January of this year.
The 13-year-old girl was, in reality, an undercover police officer.
Colin Lowrie, of Commercial Road, South Shields, pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and acting in breach of a sexual harm prevention order.
Judge Robert Adams sentenced Colin Lowrie to 20 months behind bars, with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order and 10 years on the sex offenders’ register.
