In 2019, Graham Burton, a convicted paedophile, was incarcerated for the second time for engaging in sexual conversations with an individual he thought to be a minor.
Graham Burton, residing on Tower Street West, Sunderland, was incarcerated for 16 months in 2017 for transmitting explicit texts to an individual he believed to be 13 years old and for possessing indecent photos of minors.
However, the now 60-year-old Graham Burton was apprehended for more offences, namely expressing to a decoy profile established by paedophile hunters his desire to kiss her and fondle her breasts.
A judge said the divorced dad, whose children are grown up, “satisfied the dangerousness criteria” as she jailed him for 27 months for attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and attempting to breach a sexual harm prevention order imposed after his last conviction.
