Hilmi Kisacik Ely paedophile

A paedophile, Hilmi Kisacik, is currently sought by law enforcement after neglecting to appear at a hearing where he received a nearly three-year prison sentence.

Hilmi Kisacik, 44, was found guilty of sexual crimes after communicating with an individual he believed to be a 14-year-old girl on Facebook Messenger from 3 March to 21 April.

The individual was, in reality, a decoy employed by an online kid advocacy organisation.

Notwithstanding the information that the decoy was a 14-year-old girl, Hilmi Kisacik transmitted improper images of himself and others, urged the decoy to engage in inappropriate self-touching, and solicited photographs of her.

The online kid advocacy group arrived to Hilmi Kisacik’s residence in Ely on 26 April to confront him and notify law enforcement, resulting in his arrest.

Hilmi Kisacik was released on court bail following a pre-trial hearing in July and an arrest warrant was issued for him in August when he failed to attend another hearing.

He also didn’t turn up to his trial.

On Friday (22 November), at Cambridge Crown Court, Hilmi Kisacik, of Fore Hill, Ely, was jailed for 32 months in his absence, having been found guilty of two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and attempting to cause/incite a girl to engage in sexual activity.

A warrant is now out for his arrest.

PC Shane O’Brien said: “Although Hilmi Kisacik didn’t speak to a real 14-year-old girl, the intent to incite a child to engage in sexually activity was still there.

“Protect children from paedophiles is a force priority and I would urge anyone who knows of this man’s whereabouts to contact police.”
