A doctor who convinced teenage girls and women to do intrusive medical tests under the pretence of real need has been imprisoned for a lifetime.
Over three different trials at the Central Criminal Court, 53-year-old Manish Shah was found guilty of 115 sexual assault charges against 28 female victims.
One of his victims was just fifteen years old.
Following convictions of 90 accusations of sexual assault involving 24 patients following trials in 2018 and 2019, he was sentenced to three life sentences in February 2020 with a minimum of 15 years following.
Following his first trial in December 2018, Shah was found guilty of 65 charges involving 18 victims before a jury decided he was guilty of a further 25 offences against six victims at his second trial in March 2019.
Shah received two more life sentences today at the Central Criminal Court.
